Smart search: matches what was said, not just titles
Call with Sam about the trip
4:05“...so I booked the cabin by the lake for the 7th to the 9th.”
Also matches
Clip, Oct 12, 7:05 PM
0:38“...remind me to pay the lake house deposit.”
Find it by describing it.
You don't have to remember the title or the day. Type what it was about, in your own words, and Smart search finds the recording and the moment it was said.
Typos are fine: cabn still finds cabin.
Wherever things get said.
Work
Calls in Teams, Zoom, Meet and Discord, and the meetings in between. Twenty minutes later, “wait, when was the draft due?” It is still there.

Questions
Is it recording all the time?
While Listening is on, it holds the last 30 minutes in memory (you can set 5 minutes to 2 hours), and older audio rolls off. Nothing goes into your recordings until you save it. Turn Listening off and it holds nothing.
Does my audio go to the cloud?
No. Transcription, the summary and Ask a question run on your computer. The speech model downloads once, about 690 MB. A recording leaves your computer only when you share it as a link.
Can it hear my calls in Teams or Zoom?
Yes. It takes your mic plus PC audio, from the whole PC or from one app such as Teams, Zoom or Chrome. Ask before you record other people: some places require everyone’s consent.
How much memory does it use?
About 2.9 MB for each minute it holds, so the default 30 minutes takes under 90 MB.
It already caught that.
Install CueMic and the next thing worth keeping will be there when you reach for it.
